She did her Ph.D. from Huazhong Agricultural University, China and received her M.A. and B.A. from the university of Sichuan Agricultural University, China. She has held various positions such as Expert of Ministry of Science and Technology, Reviewer of China Agricultural Economic Review(SSCI), Assessment Experts of General Projects of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Council Member of Chinese Association of Forestry Economics ,Council Member of Professional Committee of Grass Industry Economics and Policy and many more. Currently she is Professor as well as Doctoral Supervisor in the Sichuan Agricultural University, China. She has handled various research projects in agricultural economy. Professor Soteris Kalogirou is at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Sciences and Engineering of the Cyprus University of Technology, Limassol, Cyprus. He did his Ph.D. and received title of D.Sc. from University of Glamorgan, Wales. For more than 30 years, he is actively involved in research in the area of solar energy and from 1995 he is involved in pioneering research dealing with the use of artificial intelligence methods, like artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms and fuzzy logic, for the modelling and performance prediction of energy and solar energy systems. He has a large number of publications as book chapters, international scientific journals and refereed conference proceedings. He is Editor-in-Chief of Renewable Energy and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Energy, and Editorial Board Member of another eleven journals including Springer, Elsevier. He has been a member of World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) since 1992 and is a member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Institute of Refrigeration (IoR) and International Solar Energy Society (ISES).
Dr. Riad Benelmir is professor at University of Lorraine in the field of Energy Engineering with 30 years teaching and research experience with permanent involvement in education management (Head of Studies in Engineering School, Head of Formation in Energetics in Buildings within the MASc of Civil Engineering). He did his Ph.D. (1989) and MASc (1985) in Mechanical Engineering-Thermal Sciences from Georgia Tech, USA. He is Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Energy Environment Economics. He heads a research team working on energy efficiency in particular solar/biomass cooling, energy integration in buildings and biofuels production from wastes (Olive Mill Waste Water Sludge).
